Annual Gym Recital
We are diligently working on our Annual Spring Gym Recital for May 2025!
This year's theme will be
To Seaside and Beyond!
May 17-18
ALL RECREATIONAL (Not Tumbling), AFTER-SCHOOL, AND PRE-TEAM STUDENTS will be REQUIRED to participate in this event.
$165 per female student-
includes custom leotard, rehearsal, music,

There is a $50 discount for Siblings
The first 50 families that pay in full by January 31, 2025 will receive 10% off*

Mandatory Rehearsal for the show will be held Saturday, May 3rd.

Spring Schedule
Our Spring schedule will take effect on Monday, January 6th and will run through May 30th. There were minor changes to this schedule and if your student was impacted, you were notified, otherwise, your classes remained the same and there is nothing you further you need to do.

Makeup Days
1st & 3rd Friday 6p-6:55p Beginner(Tiger) & Intermediate(Hammer)
2nd & 4th Friday 6p-6:55p Pre-school 1(Guppies) & 2(Goldfish)
Lion-Fish, Great Whites, Megalodons and Dolphins will complete makeups in a normal class.
Guppies, Goldfish, Tiger Shark and Hammer Shark classes are now too full to accommodate makeups in regular class times.
As a reminder, Make-up tokens are given once your child is marked absent from their class. We do not give make-up tokens in advance, and they are not provided when a student is on hold or there is a week-long closure for the gym. Make-ups must be scheduled within 30 days through the hospitality department, or they will expire. If you miss a scheduled make-up class, your token will expire, and you will not receive another one. You must call at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled make-up class if you will not be able to make it so that it can be rescheduled, otherwise, it will be voided, and you will not receive another one.
Makeups are still eligible to trade for Open Training Times 6p-7:30p select Fridays

The week of February 10th-14th, your child can bring a Non-Member Friend to their class for free. Please contact the front desk to schedule!
Communication and Housekeeping Reminders
Please make sure that your Jackrabbit Portal Email address has been opted in to receive email communications from info@seasidetrainingcenter.com
If you have opted out of emails on the portal, you are missing out on important communications from our facility, as this is the number one way we send out updates and information on closures, changes, payments, etc. Please also note that any time the gym will be closed for Classes or Holidays, the information is updated daily on our website, seasidetrainingcenter.com as well as our Google Business Profile.
If there is a last minute closure or an emergency, we will also text the phone numbers on file so please make sure that is updated and opted in for text messages as well.
Our program is year-round, so as such, we have a strict 30-day cancellation policy in place. You must email or turn in a 30-day written notice to the front desk if you wish to end classes. You are still responsible for the tuition for those 30 days, and it will be charged to your account on the due date.

On Monday, October 14th, we will be hosting our School is out Day Clinic from 8a-6p. $60 per student, $10 sibling discount. 30 spots available. Please register online via the Jackrabbit Parent Portal. Please be sure that your child has a packed lunch, snacks, a re-usable water bottle, gym attire and shoes for outside activities.
Join us on October 18th from 6p-10p for Parent's Night Out hosted by our Competitive Team Parents. We will have pizza, crafts, games and lots of gym time. $25 per child, $15 for each additional sibling. Limited spots available so please register online under the events tab on Jackrabbit.
The week of October 21st-25th, we will be have our Annual Tricks 4 Treats. This year a little bit different than normal. This will take place all week, during normal class times.
Students are allowed and encouraged to dress up in costume, but please do not have any face or body paint as this can get on the equipment in the gym.
On Saturday, October 26th, is the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Our staff will be participating in this walk. If you would like to join our team and walk with us, you can register online here. If you don’t want to walk but would like to partner with us in donation, you can also do that at the link above. Our goal is raising $1000 to help fund research. Make sure you wear pink if you join us!
Other Upcoming Closures-
We will be closing recreational classes on Halloween at 5:00p (Thursday, October 31st). Attendance for that day has always been extremely low in past years and most of our staff has children of their own that they wish to take Trick or Treating. If you normally have a class on Thursdays, you will receive a make-up token.

Welcome Back to our Fall Session! We have some reminders and updates that we wanted to send out!
For those students that have make-up tokens from missed classes, you will be able to trade them in on one of the three Fridays from 6p-7:30p. This does not include the 3-hour Friday Night Fun. You will need to contact the Front Desk to exchange a make-up token for the Training Time, you will not be able to do it online.
As a reminder, Make-up tokens are given once your child is marked absent from their class. We do not give make-up tokens in advance, and they are not provided when a student is on hold or there is a week-long closure for the gym. Make-ups must be scheduled within 30 days through the front desk, or they will expire. If you miss a scheduled make-up class, your token will expire, and you will not receive another one. You must call at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled make-up class if you will not be able to make it so that it can be rescheduled, otherwise, it will be voided, and you will not receive a new one.
Annual Registration is REQUIRED for EVERY student that attends our gym for insurance purposes. Any student that participates in Recreational Classes, Competitive Team, Parent-Tot, Private Lessons, and After-School Pick-Up Program, is required to pay the Annual Registration Fee. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE charge. We renew this fee at the start of our new session, which is August 1st. Our Annual Registration is Pro-Rated Quarterly depending on what month a student starts classes in.
Our Jackrabbit Parent Portal is available to all families that are enrolled in classes. This is how we communicate the majority of our information, updates, classes, events and more. Please make sure that you are logging in at least once a month to check for any new policies or updates. The portal also has the skills chart for your student when testing occurs in the gym.
We also have the Seaside App in the Apple Store and Google Play Store for you to download to your phone. This has the Spot TV link as well for you to be able to watch your student in class if you are not able to watch from the viewing room.
Please make sure you are checking the Lost and Found area to the right of the Parent Viewing Room. There are a lot of water bottles and clothing items that have been sitting there for a few weeks. If they are not claimed by the end of the week, they will be thrown away.
Team Updates: Please make sure that you have renewed your USAG membership online. That needs to be completed ASAP if you have not already done so. Also, ½ of the Team Meet Fees are due by Thursday, August 31st. Please get with Coach Katie, Coach Kaylee, Coach Alyssa, or Coach Sabrina if you have questions about these fees and amounts.
We are currently in the middle of Hurricane Season. We are continuously monitoring storms and will update via email and text message about potential closures. If we do have to close down for a Hurricane, you will receive a make-up token for the cancellation. Please make sure that you are opted in for text messaging and emails via the parent portal to receive these important updates.
Monday, September 2nd is Labor Day. The gym will be completely closed. Any student that has a class scheduled on Monday, will receive a make-up token for this closure. You will have 30 days, starting September 3rd to call and schedule that make-up class.
We will be hosting a cheer clinic with Spruce Creek High School Cheerleaders on September 28th from 10a-12p. They will be teaching cheers, jumping and stunting. Sign Up sheet is available at the front desk only. Ages 5-14yrs are welcome. $25 per student, cash only. There are only 30 spots open so make sure you sign up before it's too late.
Right after this cheer clinic, we will be hosting National Gymnastics Day from 12:30p-4:30p. We will have lots of games and gym time. $15 per student, ages 5-14yrs. Our coaches will be getting in the dunk tank, so don't miss out on your chance to soak them! Tickets will be available for the dunk tank and the amazing raffle baskets that our teams have put together for their meet fee fundraiser! They all have some pretty incredible items in them!

August 2024
Annual Registration renewal will begin on August 1st. EVERY SINGLE member of our gym is required to renew to remain in any program for the 2024-2025 session. Single students will be $70 and Families of 2 or more enrolled students will be $100. In order to remain in your current classes, attend training time as a member, and/or take private lessons, the registration renewal must be paid by no later than August 15th. After August 15th, a $25 late fee will be applied to your account. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
School is back in session for Volusia County the week of August 12th. We will be closed the entire week of 8/12-8/16 for ALL Recreational Classes as well as ALL Team and will only be open for After-School Pick-up from 2p-6p Daily. This is another bye week for us so there will be No Make-Up Tokens given for this closure. Rec Week 1 for August is 7/28-8/3, Week 2 is 8/4-8/10, Week 3 is 8/18-8/24 and Week 4 is 8/25-8/31.
We will be hosting different Day Camps throughout the school year when there are closures for Holidays or Teacher Duty Days. These will be available under the events tab on the Jackrabbit Parent Portal.
