A Balanced Approach

Your child will flip over the opportunity to learn and grow through movement, challenge, and fun!

Our Girls Recreational Gymnastics program is designed to meet each gymnast where they are—whether they’re just starting or ready to refine their skills. While classes are initially grouped by age, our flexible curriculum recognizes that every child progresses differently. Placement also considers individual skill, ability, and experience to ensure each gymnast is both confident and appropriately challenged.

In these classes, girls will:

  • Build flexibility, strength, and balance
  • Improve body awareness, coordination, and posture
  • Develop proper form and technique on all apparatus: floor, beam, bars, vault, and tumbltrak

With a focus on fun, safety, and skill progression, our recreational classes help girls develop not only physical abilities—but also confidence, discipline, and a love for movement that lasts a lifetime.

Girls' Recreational Gymnastics (Sharks)

Tiger Sharks

TIGER SHARK- (BEG 6-9 YRS) & (BEG 10-18 YRS)- 55 MIN CLASS- $112.00/MO

For girls ages 6–9 with little or no previous gymnastics experience

Our Tiger Shark class is the perfect starting point for girls who are new to gymnastics. In a positive and encouraging environment, gymnasts will begin developing strength, balance, and confidence while learning the fundamentals of the sport.

Led by supportive coaches, students will be introduced to key beginner skills on all apparatus, including the beam, bars, floor, and vault. As they grow more comfortable and capable, they’ll build the strength and coordination needed to advance through our program.

To move to the Intermediate level, gymnasts must demonstrate mastery of the skills on our Beginner Skill Evaluation Sheet.

Core Beginner Skills Include (but are not limited to):

  • Walking comfortably on the high beam independently
  • Performing a pullover on bars
  • Holding a front support and completing a forward roll down
  • Executing a backward roll to feet on floor
  • Performing a bridge with straight arms on a flat surface
  • Understanding and demonstrating lever mechanics
  • Completing a cartwheel with correct hand placement, starting and finishing in a lunge
  • Learning to run and punch the springboard with two feet

This class sets the foundation for safe, strong, and successful gymnastics—while keeping it fun every step of the way!

With a strong focus on technique and progression, gymnasts build on their foundational knowledge as they begin to connect skills and refine form. Our experienced coaches create a supportive and motivating environment where girls can safely challenge themselves and celebrate their progress.

To advance to the Advanced 1 level, gymnasts must master all skills listed on the Intermediate Skill Evaluation Sheet.
