Annual Gym Recital

Our annual gym show will be held on two days this year since we are requiring that ALL Recreational and Pre-Team/Advanced Pre-Team students participate. Show will take place on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th. Sessions and groups will be announced in April.

Price will be $165 per female participant and $115 per male participant: Includes custom show leotard for girls or custom t-shirt for male participants, custom show medal, music and choreography, rehearsal time and 2 entry tickets for parents/guardians. Siblings will receive a $50 discount. The first 50 families to pay in full by January 31st, will receive 10% off the total cost.

Saturday: Session 1- 9:30a

Saturday: Session 2- 12:00p

Saturday: Session 3- 3:00p

Saturday: Session 4- 5:30p

Sunday: Session 5- 11:00a

Sunday: Session 6- 2:00p

Rehearsal date will be Saturday, May 3rd. 

Recommended but not Mandatory. 

All Guppies, Lion Fish, and Pre-Team will have rehearsal- 10:00a

All Goldfish students will have rehearsal- 11:30a

All Tiger Shark students will have rehearsal- 12:30p

All Hammer Sharks and Dolphins students will have rehearsal- 2:00p 

All Great White and Megalodon students will have rehearsal - 3:30p

Besides the 2 tickets you receive with your purchase, you are able to purchase additional tickets online and at the door. Tickets for entry will be available for purchase starting in March. Adults 18+ will be $15, Youth 7-17 will be $10 and Children 6 and under are free. 

Arrival: On the day of the show, please arrive 15 min before the start of your session. This gives you ample time to find parking, seating, etc. All gymnasts will be called to the floor 5 minutes prior to the start of their session. Please keep your gymnast with you and off of the equipment until they are called. There will not be any reserved seating.

Good Luck Grams: We will be selling good luck grams for students. Grams include a custom note and a small gift. Messages are written by family and friends to send good luck wishes and encouragement to your students. They will be announced throughout the sessions. Cost is $6 for the 1st gram. Additional messages can be purchased for $2, however each student will only receive one gift. CASH ONLY! We will hand out the messages and gift at the end of the event during our medal ceremony. Only the students that receive Good Luck Grams will take home the small gift. 

Raffles: We will be holding multiple raffles throughout the sessions for free merchandise, gift certificates, tuition and 50/50 cash! Don't miss your chance to win!

Located inside the gymnasium by the exit. Snap a photo of yourself, your gymnast or anyone in the family. Post it to Instagram and tag seasidetraining_ with #SeasideTrainingCenter. Each photo is an entry. We will be doing an Instagram live giveaway for $50 gym credit to be used for merchandise or class tuition!

What is the gym show?-  Our gym show is our annual recreational recital, like a dance recital. Every year, we have new themes and activities. Some years we do dance routines with music and props, others we do compulsory style routines. This year, we have decided to continue with a performance style show! We will host our 2025 To Seaside and Beyond Recital in our own Gymnasium. Our Recreational students will learn a choreographed floor routine with props and music. They will also rotate around the gym to show skills for vault, bars, and beam. At the end of the show, students will receive a custom 2025 Gym Recital Medal. We will have a podium, picture booth and more!  Family and friends are welcome to attend. There is no limit to the number of supporters each family brings!

Who participates?- Preschool Beginner 1 (Guppies) & 2 (Goldfish) and Advanced (Lion Fish), Tiger Sharks, Hammer Sharks, Great White Sharks, Megalodons,Stingrays (After-School) and Pre-Team are Required. Dolphins (Tumbling) are not required, however, they may join if they would like to.

Do we have to sign up?- Yes. Last year and going forward, ALL RECREATIONAL students and Pre-Team students will be required to participate in this annual recital as that is the new direction of the Recreational Program. Plus, you will get to see firsthand all the hard work your students are putting in every season! 

Do our children need to be sized for leotards?- Yes! Each student that is participating in the gym show must be sized for a leotard! These are being custom made and we want to make sure that they fit each student properly. We do not order extra leotards, so please make sure that it is going to fit your child by the May event date! We will not be able to refund for a leotard that does not fit your child if we ordered the size you requested, so please keep that in mind when writing down the size you would like to order! 

What if I have more than one child in classes, do I get a discount?- We will be offering a $50 discount for siblings. (i.e. 2 children signed up = $165 for student 1 & $115 for student 2). Although this seems like a lot, the gym doesn't stand to profit from the event. We have to cover the cost of equipment rentals, music, decorations, the cost of all the items included with purchase, and all of the hours our staff puts in to the show. We strive to put on the best production for our families!

Will my kids be in different sessions?- Although we try our best to schedule students at the same time as their siblings, it is not a guarantee. We will release assigned sessions as soon as possible so that our parents are able to coordinate. Schedules will be available the week of April 14th. 

Do we need to pay all at once?- No you do not. We offer payment plans for the gym show. You will pay a non-refundable deposit of $55 that is due at the time of sign up. The remainder you can pay in installments, weekly or monthly. The first 50 families that pay in full, will receive 10% off their total!

When is final payment due?- The remaining balance will be due by 4/15. If you do not make the final payment by the due date, a $25 late fee will be charged to your account. If your payment remains past due by 4/29, you will forfeit your child's participation in the show. No refunds will be given. 

Do we need to purchase our tickets in advance?-  No, however, tickets will be available online for pre-purchase, but they will be sold at the door the day of the event as well. Cost is $15 per adult 18+, $10 per youth 7-17. Children 6 and under are free. 

Do we need to purchase equipment at home for my kids to practice?- No, students will have ample time to practice within their weekly class. Please try to make sure your child attends their class regularly, so they do not miss routine practices. 

When does my child get their show leotard?- We will hand out leotards the entire week of May 12th! Please make sure to keep them in a safe place so they are not lost. We will not have extras on hand if your child misplaces or damages it before the gym show.

Can my child wear shorts? Makeup? Does hair need to be a certain way?- Shorts are optional, but if they are going to wear them, we recommend black. Makeup and hair is at the parent's discretion, but hair does need to be pulled back out of their faces. 

What if we need to drop or can no longer attend?  No refunds are available, but gymnasts can keep the leotard or shirt, prop and medal.   

Is the show recorded?- No, we do not professionally record the entire show, but we will have staff on hand taking photos and videos. We typically post everything on our website after the recital is over. Parents are welcome and encouraged to take pictures and record their child from their seats. Please remember that parents are not allowed on any equipment. There will be a clear divider in front of the first row of seats. NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY PLEASE!

Will there be vendors? FREE VENDOR SPOTS OPEN! If you would like to set up an outside table or text for your business, please reach out to Miss Jamie at jamie@seasidetrainingcenter.com. There is no cost to you. The only requirement is that you stay the entire day. Saturday 9a-6p or Sunday 11a-5p. You also have the option to attend both days! 

Will there be concessions this year?  Yes, we are working with our amazing food truck vendors to have great food onsite. More information will be available soon.

A $55 non-refundable deposit will be due at the time of sign-up. There is a required form that will need to be filled out as well.

Final payments for the gym recital are due by 04/15/25 for your child to receive their leotard. If we do not receive your final payment by the due date, you will be charged a late fee of $25. If your final payment remains past due after April 29th, you will forfeit your child's participation in the gym recital and no refunds will be given.
