End of Summer Newsletter:
It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to a close already!
We have some updates we wanted to get out about the upcoming 24-25 Session.
Annual Registration Renewal will begin August 1st. Single students will remain $70 for the year and families will remain $100 for the year. We will need every single family to log into the Jackrabbit Parent Portal and accept the 24-25 Policies and waivers. This is done every single year so that we remain in compliance with our Insurance and SafeSport. Annual Registration must be paid by August 15th or a late fee of $25 will be applied to the account. Annual Registration not renewed by August 30th, will result in your account being placed on hold and your student will not be able to attend classes.
Our current Summer Schedule will continue until August 10th. Coach Tanya, our Recreational Director, is currently out for surgery on her knee, but she was able to finalize the Fall Schedule which will start on Monday, August 19th. The majority of our summer classes will carry over into fall. If your child’s class is not changing, you do not need to do anything, they will be transferred over to the fall schedule automatically. If you wish to change the day and/or time of your child’s class, please contact the Hospitality desk.
There will be no classes the week of August 12th- August 16th for Back to School. This is one of our bye-weeks, so there are No Make-Ups. You will still attend 4 weeks for the month of August, so tuition is not pro-rated.
We will have our Final Summer Friday Night Fun on Friday, July 19th from 6p-9p! Join us for some awesome games, contests, open gym and pizza! $25 Members, $35 Non-Members ages 5yrs-14yrs welcome!
Please remember that ALL Make-up tokens from the 23-24 session will expire on August 2nd. Please see the Hospitality Desk or give us a call to get the remaining tokens scheduled before they expire. You can still trade-in tokens for Open Training Time on Friday July 26th and Friday August 2nd. AGAIN, All Make-up tokens for the 23/24 Session expire on August 2nd.
For the new session, we will be going back to the 30-day expiration of Makeup tokens. You will have 30 days from the date of the missed class to get another class scheduled before the token expires. Each student will only have up to 8 makeup tokens available at one time. If you know your student will be missing classes for a month or more at a time, please contact us to put a hold on your account for $35 so they don’t rack up so many makeup tokens.
Please also remember that we have a strict 30-Day Notice of Termination Policy. You are responsible for the tuition due for the 30 days after your signed letter is submitted to the front desk. Failure to give notice will result in full payment for one month of tuition. You may email your cancellation notice or drop it off at the hospitality desk. NOT ATTENDING classes will not suffice as an acceptable form of communication that you wish to DROP from your class.
After-School 2024-2025
We still have space available for the 2024-2025 School Year for our After-School program. If you are interested in signing up, please reach out to Jamie at jamie@seasidetrainingcenter.com. We pick up from Cypress Creek, Horizon, Spruce Creek, and Sweetwater elementary schools. This is on a first come, first serve basis.

Summer Newsletter:
Summer is upon us all ready and with that comes lots of changes! We have several updates for the coming months.
Summer Drops and Punch Passes
Please, let us know if your student will be dropping for the Summer as soon as possible. We are waiving the 30-day notice for drops this summer as we have implemented a new system for classes. If you wish to drop your monthly classes for vacation and travel, you will have the option to purchase a Summer Only Drop-in Punch pass. This means your student can still attend classes in June and July on your schedule. We have a 4-pass punch card available for $110 as well as an 8-pass punch card for $180. These will only be good for the months of June and July. If you are interested in learning more, please give us a call or send us an email.
Makeup Tokens
All makeup tokens for the 2023-2024 session, will expire on July 31st. If your student has several that need to be scheduled, please get with the front desk as soon as possible. We will be extending the trade-in of Makeup tokens for Open Training Time through the end of Summer. We will also be allowing makeups Monday-Friday in the 3p time slots and the 7p time slots. All makeup tokens that are not used by August 2nd, will not roll over and they will expire.
Recreational Classes
Our Summer Recreational schedule is now available. We are going to be moving to the block scheduling like we do for Winter Break. Some classes are closing or changing times, while others are remaining the same. If your child’s class time is NOT changing, you do not need to do anything, we will transfer them over to the block ourselves. If your child’s class time IS changing, you will be receiving an email and a phone call so that we can put them in a different class. We will not have any Saturday classes during Summer Break.
Our block schedule this summer is a beta test for Recreational classes moving forward. We will have 3-4 different classes all running at the same with students rotating stations and coaches. Coaches will be stationed at a specific event daily and all of the students will move as a group through each event. This is a great opportunity for students to work with all of our Coaches and it’s also great for our Coaches to work with all levels of students.
We will be handing out paper schedules all week at the end of classes for you to take home.
Our Guppies classes will be changing from 45 minutes to 55 minutes just like the Goldfish and Lionfish Pre-school classes. Since we are doing the block scheduling, all of the classes for Pre-School need to be for the same amount of time.
Our Parent Tot classes will be moving to Tuesdays and Fridays only during Summer. We will have a Tuesday 11:30a, a Tuesday 12p, and a Friday 3p. These will remain under the events tab on the same punch card system.
Recreational Tuition
We have tried to hold off as long as we could on not adjusting prices, but that time has come. Everything around us has gone up thanks to inflation and we want to continue providing each one of our students with the best training we can in a safe and clean space. At this time, each class tuition will raise $5 starting with June Tuition.
Guppies, Goldfish, Tiger Sharks will now be $110 instead of $105
Lionfish, Hammer Sharks and Megalodons will now be $175 instead of $165
Great Whites will be $150 instead of $145
Registration pricing for the 2024-2025 session, will not be increasing. August 1st is our annual renewal date for each participant in the gym. Single students will remain $70 and Families will remain $100. We will continue to pro-rate this fee quarterly.
Cirque Du Seaside Gym Recital
Our Cirque Du Seaside Recital is almost here!! We will be handing out leotards this week to the remaining students that have not picked them up yet. Please make sure that a parent comes in and signs for it. Students will not be able to take their leotards without a parent signature. Please do not let your child wear their leotard before the show so that we avoid stains or tears. We will not be able to replace leotards that get ruined prior to the show.
Tickets will be given out at the admissions table before each session. You will check in your student upon arrival at the table and we will hand you the two tickets that came with your child’s enrollment. If you need to purchase more tickets, you will be able to do so at that time. Please be sure to keep your wrist band on at all times, especially if you are going in and out. We will have food trucks outside by the exit bay door on both Saturday and Sunday. Please arrive about 15 minutes prior to your child’s session time to find parking, stop at admissions and find a seat. Please keep your gymnast with you until they are called to the floor.
Summer Camp
Summer Camp Registration is still available for all 10 weeks. Click on the Summer Camp tab on seasidetrainingcenter.com and you will find all of the information and the event calendar at the bottom will be where you register, just click on the Monday date for whichever weeks you would like to attend.
Competitive Team
Congratulations to all of our Recreational students that tried out for competitive team and made it! We are so proud of your hard work! Practice will start the week of June 10th. Please reach out to Coach Katie if you have any questions regarding team. Tuition for Team will be the 12th of each month, not the 26th like recreational gymnastics.
After-School 2024-2025

Gym Recital routines are going great!
Our rehearsal for all recreational

Emails have been sent out for Tigers - Megalodons with their scheduled Rehearsal Time. Please make sure you are checking your email on file to confirm you arrive on time.
Gym Recital Session Times will be handed out starting April 12th.
Final Payment for Gym Recital is April 12th.
Leotards have been ordered and will be handed out the week before the Recital.
Exclusive boxes will be given out at the same time as the leotards for the first 50 students that paid in full.

Self-Check-In
We will not be opening our self-check in kiosks again until Summer Time.
You will continue to escort your children into the parent viewing room prior to class. Coaches will be calling them out by class level and name.
Please make sure you are here 5 minutes prior to the end of class to pickup your student if you leave the facility during their practice time.
Parent Tot families will NOT check in on the iPads. You will still come to the desk for your Punch Card to be marked off.
March Newsletter:
Gym Recital Update
Gym Recital routines are off to a great start and the students are having a blast learning.
We will have a rehearsal for all recreational students, except for our Guppies, Goldfish, and Lionfish on April 27th. Times will be announced for rehearsal by March 23rd. Gym Recital Sessions will be announced on April 12th. Each student will only perform in 1 session over the 2-day event. Leotard sizers will be arriving in the next two weeks. ALL female participants must be sized by no later than March 23rd. Please make sure that ALL male participants have their shirt sizes turned in by April 5th.
Next $50 payment for the recital is March 15th unless you have paid in full.
If you have not made any payments yet, please see the front desk.
Exclusive boxes will be given out end of March, for those that paid in full last month, as we are waiting on a couple of items to arrive.
Self-Check-In
We will be opening up our self-check-in once again. All Recreational students must be checked in for each class. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early to class while we get into the routine of everyone checking in. Please use your phone number to check your student in for class on the iPads by the chalk wall in the lobby. Every student must be escorted into the facility by a Parent/Guardian. Parent Tot families will NOT check in on the iPads. You will still come to the desk for your Punch Card to be marked off. Please make sure that you are viewing and accepting policy updates, or your student will not be able to attend their classes. If you receive an error message, please see the front desk for help.

Closure

Competitive Team will need to follow up with their coaches for practice times during Spring Break, as this schedule may be different.

Students will begin learning their routines in class starting the week of February 12th.
Pricing will remain $150 per female participant, $125 per male participant and will include: Custom Show Medal, Custom Show Leotard (Custom T-Shirt for boys), Music, Choreography, Rehearsal time, and 2 event tickets for Parents/Guardians.
You will be able to pay in full (the first 50 families to pay in full will receive a special gift) or you can have auto-payments of $50 drafted each month starting in February.
Siblings will receive a $50 discount.
We will need to size each female participant for a leotard and we will need to know shirt sizes for the male participants.
Mandatory Rehearsal for Tiger, Hammer, Great White, Meg, After-School, Pre-Team and Adv. Pre-Team for the show will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024. No rehearsal for Guppies, Gold Fish or Lion Fish.

30 Day Withdrawal Policy
Our program is year-round, so as such, we have a strict 30-day cancellation policy in place. You must email or turn in a 30-day written notice to the front desk if you wish to end classes. You are still responsible for the tuition for those 30 days, and it will be charged to your account on the due date.

Once in a while we have to make changes and updates to our gym policies. This is to make sure we are providing clear instructions and expectations for inside the facility. Please make sure that if you wish to OPT-OUT of the Photo Policy waiver, that you reach out to the Hospitality Department so that we can put it on your account. December Newsletter:
Happy Holidays!
Flipmas at the Gym! Friday, December 8, 2023. This Holiday Show is for all of our recreational students from Guppies to Megalodons (Ages 3-16yrs old) as well as our Developmental Pre-Team and Advanced Pre-Team Students. The fee is $25 per participant. We will be dividing students into 2 groups on two floors. Preschool (Guppies-Lionfish) will have 20 spots available and the 6 and up students (Tiger-Meg) will have 30 spots available. We will be rotating through events and then reading How the Gymnast Stole Flipmas. Please make sure that your participant comes in their holiday PJ's. Families are also encouraged to wear them! All Parents/Adult Family members are $5 each, Siblings 0-14 can attend for free if they are wearing their Holiday PJs as well. We are asking that no food or drinks be brought into the gym during this time to prevent any accidents/spills. Each participant will receive a gift at the end of the event.
Saturday, December 9th will be the Competitive Team Christmas Party from 4p-7p at the gym.
December 15th-17th we are hosting our 2nd Annual Charity Meet in Palm Coast. We are raising funds for Make A Wish Foundation this year. Please take a look at our website for more information on Light It Up. The city of St. Augustine is offering anyone from Seaside Training Center a multitude of discounts at different entertainment spots for the weekend of our competition. This can also be found on our website.

FROM THE FRONT.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR STUDENT HAS ALL UTENSILS NEEDED TO EAT AND THAT THEIR FOOD DOES NOT NEED TO BE COOLED OR HEATED AS THEY DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A REFRIGERATOR OR MICROWAVE.
We will be using a block schedule during the week of December 18th-22nd for Recreational Classes just as we did last year. This schedule is available on Jackrabbit and will be posted below. We will be trading in makeup tokens for extra classes so you can sign up for more than 1 class if you have makeup tokens available. If you plan on attending classes for this week, you MUST sign up on Jackrabbit for these classes. We will NOT be holding any of our normal schedules during this week.

Our gym will be closed to all Recreational Classes December 23rd-January 1st for the Holidays.
We will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd for a Day Clinic from 8a-6p and normal scheduled classes will resume Tuesday, January 2nd as well. Volusia County Schools are back in session on Wednesday, January 3rd.
Our Spring schedule will take effect on January 2nd. Schedules have been handed out at the end of classes this week. Please check to see if your child's class will be changing and visit the front desk with any questions. You will also be receiving an email if the day and/or time will change for your student, so be on the lookout for those in the upcoming weeks.
Makeup tokens are still eligible to be traded in for Open Training Times on Fridays through February 2024. You must still register for the Training Time under events, but please either give us a call to let us know you would like to trade it in or send us an email, otherwise your account will be charged the $15 fee. There will be no Friday Night Fun in December since we are hosting our Flipmas show on the 8th and our Light It Up Competition on December 15th-16th in Palm Coast.
Our new VIP Club Membership opportunities are open for those that wish to join and gain some extra savings during the year. This is in addition to the Annual Registration Fee that all members of the gym pay for insurance purposes, this club membership is separate from that.

This year's theme will be
Cirque Du Seaside!
ALL RECREATIONAL AND PRE-TEAM/ADV PRE-TEAM STUDENTS will be REQUIRED to participate in this event.
Pricing will remain $150 per student and will include: Custom Show Medal, Custom Show Leotard, Music, Choreography, Rehearsal time, and 2 event tickets for Parents/Guardians. You will be able to pay in full (the first 50 families to pay in full will receive an early sign up gift) or you can have auto-payments of $50 drafted on the 15th of each month starting in February.
Mandatory Rehearsal for the show will be held in April.

Welcome Fall!
Makeup tokens are still eligible to be traded in for Open Training Times on Thursdays and Fridays for the month of November. You must still register for the Training Time under events, but please either give us a call to let us know you would like to trade it in or shoot us an email, otherwise your account will be charged the $15 fee. There will be no Friday Night Fun in November since we are closed for Thanksgiving.
We will begin offering discounts on recreational classes for non-peak hours starting in the month of November (Tuition runs on 10/26).

Tidal Wave Hours- Classes after 7:00p- Receive 10% off monthly tuition.
Tsunami Hours- Classes during 3:30p-7:00p- No change in pricing

On Saturday, November 18th, there will be no recreational classes or make-ups as we are closing the gym down for our Competitive Team Photos to be done. You will receive a make-up token for this closure.
On Monday, November 20th, there will be no classes running after the 3p-4p time slot. This is our Annual Gymsgiving for competitive team and staff. This event will start at 4:30p. Classes after this time will receive a make-up token.
On Wednesday, November 22nd, we will not be having any classes after 6:00p so that our staff and families can go home and get ready for the Holiday. Classes after this time will receive a makeup token.
November 23rd-26th we will be completely closed for Thanksgiving. For those with classes on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, you will receive a make-up token.
Friday, December 8th will be our Annual Flipmas Holiday Show from 6:30p-9p. We will not be doing make-up classes or training time. More information will become available in the coming months.
Saturday, December 9th will be the Competitive Team Christmas Party from 4p-7p at the gym.
December 15th-17th we are hosting our 2nd Annual Charity Meet in Palm Coast. We are raising funds for Make A Wish Foundation this year. Please take a look at our website for more information on Light It Up. The city of St. Augustine is offering anyone from Seaside Training Center a multitude of discounts at different entertainment spots for the weekend of our competition. This can also be found on our website.
December 18th-22nd we will be holding our Winter Break Camp from 8a-6p daily. Pricing will be $60/day or $250 for the week. Sign up will become available in November. We will also be using a block schedule during this week for Recreational Classes just as we did last year. We will release this schedule in the coming months.
Our gym will be closed to all Recreational Classes December 23rd-January 1st for the Holidays. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd for a Day Clinic from 8a-6p and normal scheduled classes will resume Wednesday, January 3rd when Volusia County Schools are back in session.
Team will need to follow the schedule provided by Coach Katie for morning workouts during this week.

We are updating our snacks policy at this time. You will have 2 options if you are not paying cash for your snacks/drinks at time of purchase. You can either put $10 or more on your account for a snack/drink credit, to be drawn from when purchasing, or once your account reaches a balance of $10 in snacks, we will charge the card on file. We cannot run a credit card purchase for less than $10. We are trying to eliminate the large amount of outstanding snack balances monthly on accounts, so this change is necessary.

We will be hosting our Annual Tricks 4 Treats on Friday, October 27th from 6p-9p. We will have lots of spooky fun in the gym with games, contests, pizza and more. Students are allowed to dress up in costume, but please do not have any face or body paint as this can get on the equipment in the gym. You must register under events in the Jackrabbit portal. Spots are limited to 50 students so reserve your spot before it’s too late. Each student will receive a goody bag at the end of the night. Price will be $30 for members and $40 for non-members. $10 sibling discount will be applied. Students must be 5yrs-14yrs to participate.
On Saturday, October 28th, the gym will be closed to all classes for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. All of our staff will be participating in this walk. If you would like to join our team and walk with us, you can register online here. If you don’t want to walk but would like to partner with us in donation, you can also do that at the link above. Our goal is raising $1000 to help fund research. All those with normal classes on that Saturday will receive a make-up token.
Other Upcoming Closures-

Attendance for that day has always been extremely low in past years and most of our staff has children of their own that they wish to take Trick or Treating. Welcome Back to our Fall Session! We have some reminders and updates that we wanted to send out!
For those students that have make-up tokens from missed classes, you will be able to trade those in for Training Time on Thursdays from 7:30p to 8:30p or on one of the three Fridays from 6p-7:30p. This does not include the 3-hour Friday Night Fun. You will need to contact the Front Desk to exchange a make-up token for the Training Time, you will not be able to do it online.
As a reminder, Make-up tokens are given once your child is marked absent from their class. We do not give make-up tokens in advance, and they are not provided when a student is on hold or there is a week-long closure for the gym. Make-ups must be scheduled within 60 days through the front desk, or they will expire. If you miss a scheduled make-up class, your token will expire, and you will not receive another one. You must call at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled make-up class if you will not be able to make it so that it can be rescheduled, otherwise, it will be voided, and you will not receive another one.
Our program is year-round, so as such, we have a strict 30-day cancellation policy in place. You must email or turn in a 30-day written notice to the front desk if you wish to end classes. You are still responsible for the tuition for those 30 days, and it will be charged to your account on the due date.
Annual Registration is REQUIRED for EVERY student that attends our gym for insurance purposes. Any student that participates in Recreational Classes, Competitive Team, Parent-Tot, Private Lessons, and After-School Pick-Up Program, is required to pay the Annual Registration Fee. This is a NON-REFUNDABLE charge. We renew this fee at the start of our new session, which is August 1st. Our Annual Registration is Pro-Rated Quarterly depending on what month a student starts classes in.
Our Jackrabbit Parent Portal is available to all families that are enrolled in classes. This is how we communicate the majority of our information, updates, classes, events and more. Please make sure that you are logging in at least once a month to check for any new policies or updates. The portal also has the skills chart for your student when testing occurs in the gym.
We also have the Seaside App in the Apple Store and Google Play Store for you to download to your phone. This has the Spot Tv link as well for you to be able to watch your student in class if you are not able to watch from the viewing room.
Please make sure you are checking the Lost and Found area to the right of the Parent Viewing Room. There are a lot of water bottles and clothing items that have been sitting there for a few weeks. If they are not claimed by the end of the week, they will be thrown away.
Team Updates: Please make sure that you have renewed your USAG membership online. That needs to be completed ASAP if you have not already done so. Also, ½ of the Team Meet Fees are due by Thursday, August 31st. Please get with Coach Katie, Coach Kaylee, Coach Alyssa, or Coach Sabrina if you have questions about these fees and amounts.
We are currently in the middle of Hurricane Season. We are continuously monitoring storms and will update via email and text message about potential closures. If we do have to close down for a Hurricane, you will receive a make-up token for the cancellation. Please make sure that you are opted in for text messaging and emails via the parent portal to receive these important updates.
Monday, September 4, 2023, is Labor Day. The gym will be completely closed. Any student that has a class scheduled on Monday, will receive a make-up token for this closure. You will have 60 days, starting September 5th to call and schedule that make-up class.
Annual Registration renewal will begin on August 1st. EVERY SINGLE member of our gym is required to renew to remain in any program for the 2023-2024 session. Single students will be $70 and Families of 2 or more enrolled students will be $100. In order to remain in your current classes, attend training time as a member, and/or take private lessons, the registration renewal must be paid by no later than August 15th. After August 15th, a $25 late fee will be applied to your account. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
School is back in session for Volusia County the week of August 14th. We will be closed the entire week of 8/14-8/19 for ALL Recreational Classes as well as ALL Team and will only be open for After-School Pick-up from 2p-6p Daily. This is another bye week for us so there will be No Make-Up Tokens given for this closure. Rec Week 1 for August is 7/30-8/5, Week 2 is 8/6-8/12, Week 3 is 8/20-8/26 and Week 4 is 8/27-9/2.
We will be hosting different Day Camps throughout the school year when there are closures for Holidays or Teacher Duty Days. These will be available under the events tab on the Jackrabbit Parent Portal.
